AKOMA EVENT SERIES

The Akoma Sister Circle "Event Series" are a series of non-profit events collaboratively produced by the circle to bring awareness to issues that are actively impacting the communities in which our Queens reside. Issues such as the impact of imprisonment on families and mental health have recently been tackled. The movement will only continue to grow!

The Akoma Sister Circle Facebook group is an active community of over 100 Queens and counting who actively share their accomplishments of those in Newark, the Greater Tri-State area, and around the globe who are making strides to uplift their communities. This group is also a forum for open discussions on entrepreneurship, health, wellness, and more!
